conducted the turnover of farming equipment to selected beneficiaries in Maguindanao
del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Cotabato City, and the Special Geographic Area
(SGA) of BARMM. The farming equipment package included combined rice and corn
millers with generator sets, which were distributed as part of the office's
continuing commitment to strengthen the agricultural sector by providing modern
tools that will help improve farm productivity, reduce manual labor, and
contribute to the overall livelihood of the farmers and their communities.
Prior to the
official turnover, the beneficiaries underwent a comprehensive hands-on
training on the proper use, handling, and maintenance of the farming implements
to ensure safety and maximize the lifespan of the equipment. With the turnover
now completed, the recipients are equipped not only with new machinery but also
with the technical knowledge necessary for sustainable and efficient farm
operationsโfurther advancing MP Uy-Oyod's mission of empowering grassroots
communities through practical and long-term interventions.
